semestrální zadání LS 2017

porodní dům Praha Letná

Úkolem je na zadanou parcelu navrhnout porodní dům. Porodní dům je typologický druh datovaný roku 1974, stále ve vývoji. Architektonickém i legislativním. Součástí zadání je logicky i návrh optimálního programu. Porodní domy se obvykle vztahují k lokalitě, případně lokální komunitě či zájmové komunitě.

Hlavní teoretickou úlohou je komplexně prověřit vlastnosti typologického druhu „porodní dům“ jako možné alternativy k instituci porodnice. Zadáním studenti vstupují na půdu legitimní i legální, avšak v České republice nepraktikovanou a v současné době zájmově prosazovanou. Jako typologické reference lze použít domy totožného určení fungující v sousedním Německu či Švýcarsku, či jinde v Evropě. Úkolem studentů je předložit komplexní návrh „prototypu“ porodního domu, navrhnout program, vysvětlit provoz a znát legislativní souvislosti. Dům bude navržen velmi detailně a popisně - v tomto ohledu bez rozdílu mezi interiérem a exteriérem stavby. Očekávána je pečlivě navržená struktura s důrazem na popis materiálů, haptických vlastností stavby, určujících detailů, působení světla atd …  Nedílnou součástí zadání je návrh exterieru tzn. dotčeného pozemku a dopravního rozhraní s okolními pozemky. V zadání je otevřena teoretická možnost spolupráce či propojení navrhovaného porodního domu se sousedním domem „Sdružení ambulantních zařízení Prahy 7“.

Maternity Centre at Letná, Praha, CZ

Our task is to design a maternity centre building on the selected site. The maternity centre as a typological case dated back to 1974 is still in evolution – both architecturally and legislatively. A design of optimal programme is a logical part of this task. Maternity centres usually relate to the locality, local community or to a community of common interest.

The main theoretical task is to examine attributes of the typology of „maternity centre“ in a complex way as an alternative to the institution of maternity hospital. The brief makes students to step on the ground of what is legitimate and legal, while in Czech Republic its praxis is hardly existing and at the same time strongly promoted by interest groups. As typological references various buildings of similar function in Germany, Switzerland or elsewhere in Europe can be applied. The students’ task is to present a complex design of a „prototype“ of maternity centre, to make a proposal of its programme, to explain how it works and to know it legal context. The building itself will be designed in a very detailed and descriptive way – both in the interior and the exterior. A carefully designed structure with emphasis on the material description, haptic qualities of the building, determining details, light exposure etc… An integral part of the project brief is the design of the exterior, e.g. the entire site and the interface with the traffic and adjacent plots. The brief also keeps the option of theoretical collaboration or connection of the newly designed maternity centre with the existing neighbouring building of the “Association of Ambulant Facilities of Prague 7”.
